Residing in Lakeway for the past 26 years has given me a rare perspective of our beautiful city. Lakeway has expanded and grown through the years causing many of the problems we currently face, whether it's the traffic or high-density development. I pledge to keep Lakeway's character and uniqueness as it has been in the past and as it is today. There are still many green spaces in Lakeway that are zoned R1 and C1. These are the lowest density zoning designations for Lakeway and all future development should remain low-density, which will have minimal impact on Lakeways traffic and infrastructure. We do not have to make the same mistakes as our neighboring cities.
